Boasting affluent neighborhoods, award-winning restaurants, trendy shops, and a picture-perfect view, Stone Harbor, New Jersey is an exciting town visited by people from all over the country. Whether looking for a place that provides relaxation and fun by the sea or tremendous diversity for the entire family, Stone Harbor has it all and then some.

With so many options, even the kids will enjoy a day of browsing through the many different types of shops. In addition to being a floral and gift basket shop, Coventry Crossing Flowers & Gifts sells jewelry, more than 400 candle fragrances, USA and LGB Trains, and a huge line of gourmet foods and sauces created by master chefs. After shopping, stop by Peace of Pizza for incredible gourmet pizza made to order and piping hot or Marabella's Italian Restaurant that has been serving families for more than 30 years!

If you prefer slower paced activities, you can visit Stone Harbor Bird Sanctuary or the Wetlands Institute and Museum. The bird sanctuary was founded in 1947 and holds the distinct honor of being a registered National Landmark. Additionally, it is the only Heronry in the United States that is municipally owned. Some of the herons include the Cattle Egret, Glossy Ibis, and Snowy Egret. The Wetlands Institute and Museum is comprised of more than 6,000 acres of natural wetlands. Each year, bird-watching events, and nature-related activities are sponsored. Regardless of the reason visiting Stone Harbor, you can be sure of one thing - an experience of a lifetime!
