It's called the Airport Diner now. This place is a hidden jewel... they don't even advertise. Excellent breakfast and surprisingly very affordable compared to other restaurants in OC. The creamed chipped beef is homemade and definitely "best in town" as stated on the menu. Open for breakfast and lunch only but breakfast is served ALL DAY! Everything is cooked to order...my wife likes her homefries well done and they actually came out that way..a rare thing these days. I heard that the cook is from Philadelphia and makes an awesome Philly cheese steak. The building is connected to the municipal airport. Our kids enjoyed going into the airport and looking out onto the runway. And another perk is that there is plenty of parking!!! Sometimes there is a wait but you can tell that these friendly people hustle to get you in and fed. Gotta try it...you WILL go back!
