Being an oc local,I work here and I take dates here a lot. Also a place to chill with the crew. We also went there to celebrate my friend Tuck's 16th.Its also great after the long ride from wild wood catholic, my hs. Phenomenal ice cream, great service, hot babes to flirt with, and it pays my gas. I love getting free tons to take home to my family of 4. U gotta check it out. I guess if your 15 you may go for the guys. I agree, ice cream is great. Prices are ridiculous and will never go back after being ripped off last night. Ordered something with 2 scoops of ice cream. They charge you a 1.95 charge to get 2 types of ice cream in what you order. Aren't they an ICE CREAM PARLOR??????? The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Is it that difficult to stick the scoop into 2 kinds? Maybe they should employ more help if that's the problem. WILL NEVER, EVER GO BACK AND I HAVE BEEN GOING FOR 35 years!!!

A la mode has the tastiest ice cream in the world.It's a little indulgence on the price, but it is so worth it. The FBI brownie sundae is DELISH. So moist and decatant. Ditto for the St. Peter's Gate cookie sundae. YUMMO! If you are ever in the area, I would most definately taste the best ice cream in town. cathy (1/28/2007)

A LA MODE ALL THE WAY. Their ice cream is MOUTH WATERING. Mmmm...i could eat a few pounds right now. Plus, the atmosphere is too cute. but it gets really busy on those hot summer nights. but its definetly worth the wait!! the only competitor: varners.
