I have to agree with Stephen and Edward. The Alante is s very nice motel and for the money the Alante and the Aloha happen to be tops in my book.

This is our second year staying at the Alante. We've stayed at several other places over the past few years and quite frankly, the Alante IS the best. The management is friendly and very accomodating. The housekeeping staff is efficient and polite. The room was always cleaned. ANY issue brought to management or housekeeping was addressed and resolved quickly and politely. We did have to ask for the walls to be dusted in the bedroom, but again, this was done promptly. I stayed at a Hyatt in Anaheim CA some years back that could not match the way this place is run. There are ride-on cars and toys for the kids as well as kid-sized tables in the courtyard area along with two natural gas grills that any guest can use (can you say, "Save money by NOT eating out"). All in all a great family place with a clean pool (pool maintenance contractor seems to come every other day to make sure), clean rooms, kid-friendly atmosphere and guest-oriented staff. Hard to believe that anyone could say that the owner could care less or was "downright rude". Nothing could be further from the truth IMHO.  Marie (8/9/2004)
The motel itself is nice and is located right at the beach, but the owners could care less about the people that stay there. They will not listen if you have a concern, and they can be downright rude. As nice of a place as it is, we will never stay there again!

the Alante and the Aloha happen to be the best motels in all the Wildwoods.
