Caroline's is a decent bar. I would not say it is a family restaurant. Some people simply complain too much. They have free pool on Sunday nights and plenty of TVs for sporting events. Occasionally they have a DJ. It gets really crowded in the summer.

Caroline's is a great place to have a good time especially with the following day time bartenders: Laura; Geenie (Get well soon); and Lisa. The food is much better than it was in the past, I should know, I eat there a lot. The servers are great also: Shannon; Christine; Jen; etc. By the way Hank, Ed and Jimmy likes the place also, they should they are there almost every day. I'm not sure where all these fantasic reviews are coming from. I'm a local that has had a few drinks at this bar on several occations and had a decent time so I booked reservations on New Years Eve and brought along two other couples. First off, Caroline's neglected to tell us they offer a limo service so two members of our party couldnt drink. Guess Carolines wasn't interested in the money those two would have spent at the bar. Next while we were eating dinner we were told the bar was backed up so an additional surcharge would be placed for any alcoholic beverages had during dinner. The bar was busy on NYE? Really? Who would have anticipated that? Not Caroline's. The dinner well Lobster Bisque was...cold. The appetizers were scrimpy AND cold. The main course aside being changed from when we made the orginal reservations was....you guessed it COLD. The waitress rushed each course out, guess she had a date that night, which made it so amazing how cold everything was. The Chocolate Mousse dessert was nothing more than pudding in a cup, AND our champagne toast....NEVER HAPPENED. Finally when we were starting to enjoy ourselves at the bar, they CHARGED our designated drives 2 bucks a pop for soda? Its not really the money that upset us, I mean 50 cents here two dollars there is no big deal. The problem is: Where is the courtesy and hospitality. I work for a hotel and I KNOW none of my concierges will EVER recommend Carolines by the Bay EVER again.

mY HUSBAND AND i AND ARE TOW CHILDREN (AGES 3 AND 6 MONTHS) HAD A BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!! AT CAROLINE'S. THERE IS SOMETHING HERE FOR EVERYONE. MY DAUGHTER ENJOYED HER SHIRLEY TEMPLES AS WE DINED ON THE FINEST PEEL YOUR OWN'S AND ENJOYED THE GEORGEOUS VIEW OF AC AT NIGHTIME. HEY! YOU CAN NOT BEAT THIS PLACE WITH A NY RESTAURANT. ALSO, THEY HAVE A BAND OUTSIDE. GREAT DRINKS TOO.

Carolin'e is AWESOME!!!!! The food as well as the service is awesome! The bar is also great! The location is WONDERFUL. This hot spot is a great place t have a party, business trip, or even a date. We love the chicken nachos! Great service, food, and people; and of course you have to play a little trivia on NTN while you're there!
