My family and I were recently down at LBI and ate a Callahan's. Our party was a very large party, 15 people. We spent well over $400.00 for dinner and the service was fair, and food was cold and small portions. We decided to give it another try and went into the bar the following night. The Bartender was extremely rude and distant. Not only did he tell me that he could not accomodate my first drink choice, but, gave me a secondary option which I was not at all pleased with. I did place a phone call the next day to the manager, and she also, was not very accomodating to our needs. Our family comes to LBI every year and spends alot of money on the Island. I do not feel that we should be made feel insufficient and that we are just there for the week. We spend a lot of money there every year without us (people who rent houses) LBI would not be so built up as it is if it were not for all the "vacation people". We did not re-book the house for our next year vacation and seriously thinking of visiting another part of the Jersey Shore. One where we will feel welcome and that our business and our money means something to us.
