Honks must not have eaten at Voltaco's. I have been eating there for 30 years - everytime I get to OC. The Italian sub, and the Cheesesteak are out of this world. I wish they could ship their food!

We are here for a week in September and unfortunately they are only open Fri, Sat & Sun. We love it so much that we ordered lunch from them as soon as they opened! Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich is my fav! Tim (8/22/2008)

Food is great, but the service is terrible...long waits, and they talk to everyone they know, sometimes lettingn them cut in front of others who were there first

The service is extremely frustrating at times, and if the food wasn't so good I would have walked out several times over the years. I have been going there since 1968 and I too belive they are the best cheesteaks and hoagies on the planet! I will be there tomorrow as sson as we get into town for another annual vacation. No delivery, and it's worth it. Remember the smell of the hoagie shop when you were a kid? This is that smell, true aroma therapy! The regular Italian is excellent. The chesesteaks are huge, so when you get them home, drain 'em a little. Very good eating. The frozen homemade selections are really good. I stock up for winter every year. What sauce! Can I leave two reviews? I just did and Voltacos deserves it. If you miss this place while you're visiting the Jersey Shore, you're really missing out. I'm a local and grew up at this place but don't let me decide for you. Call in your order and see for yourself. You won't be dissapointed. May I suggest a regular Italian or a meatball parm with mozzarella, provolone, and parmesean?!
