User Reviews | Map It! Wet and Wild Owner (12/6/2004) In regard to Paul B.'s comments:
Dear Paul and renters, As a business we always want to satisfy the customer. Prices for the rental of a waverunner has been ridiculous over the past couple years, and yes the gas prices played a partial effect. Wet 'N' Wild has changed ownership and the quality of the business will remain strong. However, one discrepency the new owners have with the old is the prices. In the upcoming 2005 summer season you will see the prices drop, which is rare to see happen in any business today. The other waverunner rental business in Ocean City believes in upping charges and later dropping prices by a few dollars. This was the reason for Wet 'N' Wild's higher prices in 2004. In 2005 such games will not be played with the competitor. If they do not like the prices being lowered for the season's entirety then they will have to deal with it. See you in the summer of '05'. Thanks for your review. Paul M. (7/8/2004) Great place to run the wave runners, big open area, but the prices are rediculous. I have gone there at least a million times when the price was $60 for 1 hr and it was great, now they have up the price to $80 and I think its rediculous, I know gas prices are up but don't charge another 20 to fill the tank of a waverunner that we are not going to use up in 1 hr, takes at least 5 hrs to burn a tank of gas in a waverunner. I have to go to other marina's or other places next door to wet n wild just to get it down to $65, no offense, but go back to your original price and maybe I will go back to renting with you guys. Sorry, $80 is rediculous.
