A great family day outing for a donation. The zoo is excellent and they are constantly doing upgrades to the exhibits. The park grounds are great for a picnic. There's nice hiking and biking trails. There's a creek with ducks and geese to feed and you can fish (young 'uns can fish for free, adults you will need to purchase a fishing license at the local sporting goods store approx. 1 mile away). The Park and Zoo have so much to offer, so when you go, please be generous with your donation. Jamie Meller (7/24/2004)
A voluntary donation is all you need to enter the park. Fun for the entire family. The zoo has a well designed layout and houses animals from all over the world. Amenities include Picnic grounds, playgrounds, gift shops, and snackbars. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing, don't forget the camera and arrive early zoo normally closes @ 5:00pm.
