I have been coming to Ocean City, NJ since I was 2 - 47 years. I have never received the poor service that I have received from Artistic Creations. Last year on August 27th - my 49th birthday, I bought a picture at Artistic Creations and paid for it with a credit card. I needed it reframed so I was to pick it up the next day. There was a problem reframing the picture so it had to be shipped to my home in PA. It arrived with the frame broken in Sept. My husband and I took the picture back down the first weekend in Oct. It was to be fixed and sent back to us. It is now April 2004, and I do not have my picture or my money back after repeated phone calls, and letters including one from my lawyer. I have not even received a call or letter from them. I have verified that they received reimbursement from UPS for the picture back in Oct. I am very disgusted at the way I have been treated. I cannot believe this store has kept my picture and my money. I have made this story known to many people and will continue to do so. One of my next steps I guess is to sue in small claims court for my total expense in this ordeal. I have already received the paperwork to do so from the Cape May County Courthouse.
