We just returned from a stay at the Beach Terrace Hotel in Wildwood. Sadly, our stay was marred by a series of unfortunate events. Upon check-in we had a hard time opening the door to the unit. Mold around the door jamb had sealed it shut. The owner finally got it open. When my daughter turned on the light to her room she shrieked and ran out. She claimed she'd seen a rat. Suspicious, I went inside and looked under the bed. Sure enough a group of large rats were there, up against the wall just below the headboard. We asked for a new room but none were available and no refund would be given. The carpeting and flooring were filthy, our feet turned black after just a few minutes of being barefoot in the apartment. The furniture was old and much of it was broken. The beds were terrible and the bathroom was disgusting. Overall, the place was horrific and I would recommend against going there if I were you.

"The dirtiest carpets we have ever seen" We just got back from a visit to WILDWOOD and stayed at the BEACH TERRACE. I saw it was rated very high on a web page and thought I would try this hotel. The staff was nice and tried to be helpful, But the hotel was very very dirty. The carpets in the whole place were gross! We made are kids wear there shoes in the room because there feet where getting black. We were moved to a different room but they all looked the same. all the furniture was old and stained and the pull out bed was a joke. We asked about getting out of the room a day earlier but were told there no refunds so we stayed. I dont know how this place was rated so high on any web site .. but we found the place gross.
