New Years Shore Celebration

As we all know, New Years is a time of celebration, a time of leaving the past behind, and vowing to make better choices. This is a time when family and friends gather to enjoy each other’s company and have a good time. Some festivities are held at major hotels where the ballroom is filled with the sound of swishing evening gowns flowing to the music, balloons and confetti falling from the ceiling, loud party favors and silly hats, and crowded rooms so full, getting around is difficult. For some people, this kind of New Year’s celebration is exactly what they like. However, the majority of people stay home simply because they prefer to avoid all the fluff! For the coming New Year, why not consider a trip to Jersey Shore where you can celebrate the beginning of the new year while enjoying some of the country’s most beautiful scenery and tranquility?

Sea Isle City is a perfect example of the many quaint towns that line the shoreline, and the perfect destination for families. If you enjoy dining out, this town offers a wide choice of restaurants featuring mouth-watering Italian, Seafood, and American cuisine. Two ideal choices are the Lobster Loft Restaurant that provides an amazing waterfront view, and Braca Café, which has the pleasure of having very creative chefs. Start your evening by dining at these restaurants or dine at the New Year’s Eve in Paris celebration, which is a memorable occasion for people of all ages. In addition to dinner, you can enjoy excellent entertainment, face painting, and even gifts for the children.

Just a short drive away you will find Ocean City where eight miles of pristine beaches are found, carefully guarded by a professional beach patrol. This town has long been a favorite holiday destination, specifically for families with children. With so many fun things to do, such as a water park, miniature golf, Jersey Seashore Children’s Museum, the Ghost Tour, and more, everyone in the family will have an exceptional time. To celebrate the beginning of the new year, January 1 represents the First Day at the Beach where you can lay back on your blanket and enjoy live entertainment coupled with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop. If you do not have children, no need to feel left out. In addition to fine dining and live entertainment, you can also take advantage of the New Year’s Day Shopping Extravaganza to celebrate New Years.

Other options to consider are the towns of Somer Points, Strathmere, Stone Harbor, Wildwoods, and Cape May. Although not all towns have specific New Year’s events, you will discover that the great thing about this area of New Jersey is that all of these towns are all within close proximity, allowing you to visit several different towns and take everything in that they have to offer. For example, while celebrating New Years, Somers Point is known as the place to go for nightlife. If you want to spend New Years dancing the night away or spending time trying your luck in the casinos, this is the town to visit. Regardless of your preference for celebrating New Years, you will find a number of great options in any one of these towns.
